Reindeer Playgroup

PLACES AVAILABLE NOW!

We are a friendly morning playgroup for 2 to 5 year olds based in Holy Cross Church Hall, Davidson's Mains.

Reindeer Playgroup has been running since 1968 and provides a fun and caring environment for local pre-school children whilst giving them the opportunity to develop social and learning skills.

A warm hello to Reindeers past, present and future… and their parents/carers!

PS – We don’t really know why we’re called Reindeer Playgroup. If anyone was around in 1968 please do get in touch! Meanwhile, we’ll assume that it’s because our little Reindeers are great helpers.

When we meet & What we do

Our drop-off play sessions take place from Tuesday to Friday 9:15am until 11:45am. Children can attend 1, 2, 3 or 4 of these sessions per week.

The sessions are designed to offer children free play opportunities alongside time for stories and arts activities.  A healthy snack is provided each day.

Playworkers make sure to pass on verbal feedback to parents/carers at the end of the sessions.

Where we meet

Holy Cross Church Hall is a building set behind Holy Cross Church and is accessed from East Barnton Gardens.

It provides a light and spacious space for play. We have the added benefit of our own enclosed garden which we use in good weather.

There is a car park outside Holy Cross Church Hall for easy drop-offs/pick ups and buses 21, 41, and 42 stop just one minute’s walk away.
